Notable Private Investigation Cases

Gina, the 5-year-old girl abducted by her father
In December 2025, our agency, Croma Detectives, was commissioned to assist in the search for a five-year-old girl who had been abducted by her father and taken out of Spain without her mother’s consent.
Following an initial analysis of the father’s circumstances and the gathering of strategic information, we launched an investigation aimed at determining whether an international abduction had taken place. Through documentary review, meticulous verification of contacts, interviews with those close to the family, and direct coordination with the Catalan and Italian authorities, we managed to obtain strong evidence that the child was in Italy. Throughout the investigation, we combined technical analysis with operational experience and professional intuition – a key factor that enabled us to anticipate movements and correctly direct our course of action, thereby obtaining solid evidence that the child was in Italy.
The investigation confirmed his whereabouts, providing key information that enabled the relevant legal procedures to be set in motion and facilitated his safe return to Spain.
Our involvement was not limited to the investigation phase, but extended to monitoring the proceedings in person at the Juvenile Court in Naples, ensuring support for Gina’s mother and constant coordination with the authorities and security at every stage, which ultimately enabled mother and daughter to be reunited in El Prat de Llobregat, thus bringing the case to a successful conclusion and reinforcing our commitment to efficiency, sensitivity and professionalism in highly complex investigations.
